<< Honda Tohru ~ She is the main character. She after her mother died she was living with her grandfather, but he had to move, he asked Tohru if she had any friends to live with, she said yes. But nether of her friends had room in their houses, so she lived alone in a tent. She was camping on land owned by the Sohma family, she begged them to allow her to stay on the land. They tell her she can't because its unsafe, so they allow her to acts as a live in maid. She wants to be born in the year of the cat (watch the show to get it), instead of the dog. Soon after moving in she finds out a big secret of the Sohma family, some members of the Sohma family are possessed by vengeful spirits of the Chinese zodiac when huggled by the opposite sex they turn into animals. | |

<< Sohma Kyou ~ Kyou is the reason Tohru learns of the Sohma's family secret. When he is huggled by the opposite sex he turns into a cat. He was ordered by Akito to live at the Sohma's house but he's not happy about living with Yuki, he was also forced to go to the same school as Yuki. The cat was tricked out of the Chinese zodiac by the rat, so Kyou's wants to get revenge by defeating Yuki. << - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >> >> Sohma Shigure ~ He is a novelist, who is a bit perverted, loves girls. He has the ability to be serious and off track at the same time. Shigure usually dresses in a kimono, but boy does he look good in a suit. He acts loyal to Akito, but it seems like there's something else going on. When he is huggled he turns into a dog. |

<< Sohma Yuki ~ He is the quiet type, who's good at sports and martial artist, he is known as the "prince" at school. Yuki has a fan club of girls that are just dying to hold him, but Yuki is the "rat", when huggled by the opposite sex he turns into a rat, he often has to push them away other wise his secret would be known. Yuki is attending the same high school that Tohru goes to. Yuki can't disobey Akito, he fears him and would not wish to get into trouble. Akito has warped Yuki's brain. Akito would lock him up in a dark room for long periods of time, telling him how he wasn't normal and that changing into animal would be offensive to people. People that find out must have their memory erased, unless Akiot says otherwise. |
